Catching up with the Clancy's

I thougth I'd dedicate this post to merely catch you up on the Clancy's! This 2012 has been ahhhhmazing so far, but a few things to add to that!

Josh and I tied the knot on September 24, 2011. It was such a memorable day to spend with our close family and friends. The day was so special and went way to quick! We were lucky to have our ceremony and reception on video (thanks to my papa!) but he won't let us watch yet (in denial or maybe doesn't want to relive where all that money went? I dunno...) Josh and I couldn't be happier with the way this year has gone so far...it's so hard to believe that we are 4 days away from our 9 month anniversary!  Cray cray..
This little pup is our newest addition! We had always talked about getting a dog , but never would have guessed it was going to be the weekend after we returned from our honeymoon! Our good friends Ali and Dan O' paid us a visit after our honeymoon and brought along their new puppy Moose...he was just the cutest little thing and was what we had talked about wanting (hypoallergenic). They told us what good of a deal they had gotten and where they got him and , well 2 hours later we had a little one of our own! She is 1/4 shih tzu and 3/4 poodle. We named her Paisley after Brad Paisley :)
Josh and I moved into my grandparents house after the wedding and have been fixing things up ever since!  We have painted all the walls and doors and have put in new tile in the kitchen. The picture on the right is of our current project at hand. We are putting in all new cabinets and countertops! I actually thought it would have been a harder decision than it was for choosing what kind and color of cabinets and countertops. We thankfully share the same taste and didn't have any arguments about this. :) The left picture is of our old kitchen cabinets after they were taken out of the kitchen. Josh and his dad put them in the basement by our washer and dryer! I love it and can't wait to get it all organized! This is our unfinished side of the basement that we hope to someday finish!
This past May my bestie Bretta got hitched! It was such a special day and I was so honored to be her matron of honor! (Even thought I was a weeeee bit nervous about my speech, it was all good!) Didn't she look gorgeous?!
I had to post this picture of my wittle Paisley pup snuggling with me! I love it when she's like that...I'm sure an ungodly amount of pictures of Paisley will be filling up my blog more and more...
So some pretty amazing news for my brother and his sister-in-law--they are now proud parents of this adorable young kiddo! My brother and his wife have been trying to adopt for awhile now and God sent them little Nolan Thomas Mason Davis. They were able to bring him home a couple weeks ago and he is adjusting well!! I can't belive my brother is a dad now! They asked me to be Nolan's Godmother and I was so honored to accept . :) I am going to visit him this Saturday with Josh and my mom so more pictures will be coming! This picture is from when I Facetimed my parents while they visited the baby in St. Louis. He was showing so much expression !! :)

Josh has been a hard workin' machine the past month since school has been out! He dedicated himself to our landscaping and we have finally finished! This is a picture of the front of our house!
We also recently purchased a new table and chairs for our front porch. I love eating out there and also sipping on a glass of wine while reading isn't bad either :) . Paisley loves it too!
